Struggling through 2020

Got a surprise when checking my main bank account yesterday. I have a personal pension in there for just over £2k. This is with Scottish Widows and I'm thinking it's from one of my jobs many years ago. They had sent a tracing letter and I returned it, not expecting anything, Shame I have to wait til I'm 55 to access it.

NSD yesterday and having another today. Won't be one tomorrow as out for New Years but have already bought the event tickets (£10 each) and don't plan to spend much there (no good ale choices lol).

It wasn't actually a NSD yesterday. Needed a few food things and bought cinema tickets for a show on Saturday, my OH will then buy them for the following week. We don't go often, maybe 5 times a year, and the tickets are cheap £6.80 or £3 on Mondays.

Shame I finish uni end of November this year, last placement ends 15th November, course officially goes onto January 2021. Won't get to see any of this new government money for nursing, even £1000 would be good or maybe we'll get half

Actually paid my rent this morning

I have £150.33 to last till next Friday. I should get £200 then. I do have a few bills to pay before then though. Not sure I got paid correctly from one employer though, seemed a bit low.

Finally, my DBS has been completed, just waiting for it to be printed and sent now. Should hopefully be starting at the new bank job real soon. I do however have a lot of bank night shifts booked from next week, so I'd like to get any training for the new job done this week. I will email them tomorrow.

First NQN interview on 18th March! Have applied for around 6 roles, some are closing and interviewing before the 18th March so only time will tell, what I could be doing as my first NQ role.

So I now have another recruitment event to go to on 29th Feb. At a different trust than the other one. This one is more local so more ideal but hoping as I want theatres or Oncology I don't get interviewed by my old boss.
