Good Morning,

Did anybody of you travelled to Atlanta?

I've not been yet, heading there in May and started some research. This was one of the websites I started with.

    https://www.atlanta.net/50fun/

Trip Advisor has a reasonable forum for it too.

The best recommendation is to use the airport and leave. It's a very dull city.

I’ve been for work a few times and taken days off in and around the area.

The MARTA connects the airport to the downtown area of the city and I would use. I never experienced any issues.

I found the downtown area was a little quiet at weekends but still worth visiting. The CNN complex, CocaCola, Aquarium and Olympic Park all in that area.

Outside of the centre is Buckhead which overtime I preferred as a location to stay and spend time in. The MARTA runs there. Shopping and more restaurants out that way.

I would pop on to the Trip Advisor site and explore and ask questions on the Atlanta forum.

Coke and Timex Museums were about as much as I could find of interest and although I gave it a miss, the Olympic park if you like sports.

We enjoyed the aquarium, with the exception of the dolphins
Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end
