We used Trade Priced.co.uk,they where cheaper and ordered Tredaire Elite of them mid afternoon,it was delivered at half eight the next morning and is at least 10 times better than anything at Carpetright at half the cost:j
I ordered from them today and as I went through the checkout procedure I noticed that they do deliver to N.Ireland the only difference being 2 to 3 days instead of next day.0 -
Hi have just been pricing underlay on tradepriced.co.uk and notice that delivery to NI is £27.50...is this what everyone else is charged? and if so are their prices cheap enough to justify this? Sorry have no idea what underlay costs as havent been carpet shopping yet, wanted to arm myself with some information before I get talked into anything!0

Good underlay is usually dearer than the carpet, the cheapest that most carpet places do is £5.99 per square metre. The rods etc usually cost £29.99 from your carpet store too.You cant take the trousers off an elephant!0

sorry to bother you again but I have just found a company called www.carpet-underlay-shop.co.uk who only charge £6.95 delivery to NI!! And their prices seem very cheap too, but I want to know if anyone knows if this sounds like a good deal before I order:
Tredaire Dreamwalk Underlay 15.07 sqm (11mm thick, 2.7 tog rating and 46db noise rating, delivered for £53.87 including VAT.
This is quite a bit cheaper than Tradepriced.co.uk for their Tredaire Elite which seems to be roughly same spec and their price was £111. Am I missing something???0 -
Howzit! From what i've seen most underlay suppliers online don't show Delivery charges upfront however a word of advise, do your price comparisons at the checkout as i did and you'll see that in fact the delivery charges & VAT charges still add up to alot less than other websites that include the VAT & Delivery charges. My first purchase of underlay online was at www.tradepriced.co.uk , a shocking experience & one i'll never repeat! Since then i've purchased on at least a couple of ocassions at www.carpet-underlay-shop.co.uk and i found them to be very helpful and the orders were received next day with no problems!
Well each to their own. I worked out Tradepriced to be the cheapest and ordered one day and delivered the next.
Great firm to deal with.0 -
