    Afternoon everyone

I’ve been having a busy but enjoyable run up to Christmas this year, very different to last year.

Tomorrow I am volunteering at an event put on by the museum in the morning and then a group of us are going to a candle light rendition of a Christmas Carol in an old church in the evening. We are all contributing something to a buffet at the home of one of the group afterwards to round of the evening

The presents are wrapped, and I have got the final ingredients for a white chocolate cheesecake and a salmon pate this morning. This is what my SIL requested when I asked her what I could contribute towards the food. I made a Christmas cake a while back to take over there too. It doesn’t seem much as I’m staying for a few days but they insisted that was all they wanted.

TA bunny sounds lovely. The girls are going to be so excited when they see him.

Tru thank you for the song it is lovely to come on here and see it. I wandered down to Tesco earlier and it was only after getting a few strange looks along the way that I realised that I was humming it out loud :o.

Gers it is great to read how well you are recovering.

Nannywindow checking the chocolate covering on sweets is a hard job but someone has got to do it :D.

Taff sounds like last night was good and the slight hangover is worth it

NMLC like AOD I’m another one who uses a magic sponge on the glass door I find it really works well.

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone.

    Afternoon All

Quickly popping on to say hello. DS1 and DGD, DS2 and DGF and DD and partner have just gone for a walk - I've stayed in as DGS is asleep. It's been absolutely manic here with people coming and going.

We're having a Christmas day tomorrow as everyone is around so I'm busy trying to organise everything whilst children and adults alike are in the way!

Went to Aldi this morning for the last bits and bobs only to find I hadn't taken my purse so had to go back to rescue the trolley, highly embarrassing but they said it happens quite often.

We're off to Elfingrove this evening, there have been mixed reviews but hopefully the children will enjoy it.

Enjoy the rest of Saturday. Take care. XX
