End of Contract lease car charges

Hello
I had a 24 month lease with psa free2move. Manheim inspection services inspected the car and found damage made up of £509. i had a look at the inspection report and the images they provided and its based on the paint job carried out. i have images of before and after the paint job and found no differences whatsoever with the paint job carried out.
I complained to psa finance as they issued the £509 invoice charge. they agreed as a gesture of good will they will bring the charges down to £362.
I still disagree with the charges as quite frankly the damage mentioned is non existent.
my question is, do I complaint to the FOS or to the BVRLA ?
any advice is much appreciated.

Was the 'paint job' carried out by the car manufacturers' approved garage?
Take the car back to the sprayer and tell them to do it again?0 -
How did they know a paint job had been carried out on the vehicle? Assuming you never told them about it, it must have been evident or they'd not have had any cause for concern. That suggests it may be sub-standard.
As for your direct question, it is a dispute over vehicle repair standards and (presumably) the contract you had with the leasing company. I don't think FOS will consider it because there has been no financial mismanagement of any sort.0 -
it was done over a year ago.... ill upload pics and there is no diffeerence between before and after0

It will restore your honour, make you feel proud, protect your house, give you a job, clean up the neighbourhood, remind you of how great you once were, clear out the venal and the corrupt, remove anything you feel is unlike you... In your opinion.
To the trained eye it can be obvious.
Did you notify the damage to the lease company or your insurer. Was the work carried out at an approved garage in accordance with your lease agreement.0 -
A good paint job will never be noticed, they noticed it so it's not a good paint job and needs redone.0

yes it was an approved garage... no it did not take it through insurance... as it would have ruined my 7year NCB..... the car was vandaled...hence had to get the whole car resprayed0

If it was done properly then it would not be visible. If it was visible then the next buyer would be able to see it, so it was not done properly and has reduced the value of the car.0 -

A good whole-car respray is very expensive if done properly and would surely have cost far more than any dent in your NCB (plus Excess). If you're only being asked for £362 now, it must just be a small area that is at fault. I'd pay up and chalk it up to experience and buy NCB protection when you next renew your insurance if it is that important.0 -
A whole car respray? Just to check.....you resprayed it the same colour yes?An answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......0
