Do we need to say an amount when they answer?

It says:
"All you need to do is remember that life-changing amount… because, if we call you after 3pm on Christmas Eve, you answer your phone within five rings, AND give us the exact amount in pounds and pence"

So, do we have to say "£100,000.00p" ? i.e. one hundred thousand pounds and zero pence? (would they be that fussy !!)

Same here unless this is linked to the Hits radio comp as I remember entering that on Friday night and it was 12 entry's.

That hits radio competition ended 3pm on Friday
This competition is part of the Hits network England so the same short link works for all Hits England competitions.

It only works when a competition is open. If you try entering closed competition links at the moment they won't work. I've just tried the Greatest Hits link which also ended Friday at 3pm and got "This competition is currently not open*.
Whether you scroll down on the first link or enter the enter link above once you reach 12 entries you have reached your maximum entry.

Hits Radio England channels can be entered by those in Scotland as Hits Radio is broadcast here.
Another user on here has previously contacted the station to verify and it was confirmed that NATIONAL indeed includes Scotland.

But as Hits Radio is DAB national does that mean anyone who has a DAB radio is in the broadcast area?

No. I can listen to digital radio from every country in the world but It doesn't mean that I fall within their broadcast area. This is a northern comp I'm afraid.

vintendo, You might be thinking on internet radio which is different.

DAB digital radio is a terrestrial broadcast technology, using land-based transmitters. You can only listen to stations when you are within their transmission range as DAB still adheres to the laws of local terrestrial radio.
