Beware - we picked up 2 for £25 bottles of champagne at Tescos on Friday and were charged the full price of £19.98 per bottle. Tescos refunded the difference at customer services, apparently we weren't the first to complain about this 'pricing error'.

Unless they gave you DOUBLE the difference, you were conned (and I wonder how many others were in that store if you weren't the first???)

Tescos policy on overcharges is Double the difference. You can still claim that if you go back in to the store and tell them to look at the big blue board behind them and explain why you weren't offered that in the first place!!

Tesco have got Mercier Brut champagne back in stock today at £54.09 for 6 bottles; use the £15 off £50 voucher code on hotukdeals and it brings it down to £44.09 including delivery: just over £7 a bottle.

Tesco are doing Moet & Chandon Brut Non Vintage Champagne 75cl for £16.95 per bottle. So you can either buy one or as many as you like. I bought a few last week when it was 25% off, and then another couple of Lanson Black Labels at 2 for £25.
