Halfords damaged my car yesterday when it was in for a mot

Hello i booked a mot test at oldham autocenter yesterday.i took my car at 11am in perfect condition ! I went back 1 hour later to find my car tucked away in a seprate car park from halfords main one with i thought was abit strange as i walked over to my car i noticed from abot 20 feet away a big scratch down my drivers door and drivers wing.i went in to halfords to ask what the hell had happend to my car they said they didnt no and it must of happend in the car park they parked it in thir not me ! So when i ask to see the cctv they said that car park doesnt have cctv thats strange why would you put a customers car in a car park that has no cctv so i asked to see the manager who was not on site.the guy behind the desk gave me a card and said to phone customer service and they will sort it out.it took me 2 hours to get through to customer service to be told ill have to send photos over witch i did right away and ill have to wait 24 hours till someone calls me back a senior manager bye the name of alan basicly laughed me claim of and said my car was damaged in the car park and halfords dont cover any cars in the car park ! So basicaly i am talking to my solicitor at the moment and awaiting a responce from the md or ceo can anyone else advise how to deal with halfords when they have damaged my car whilst in thir care ?
