Recently, I bought one of these, to listen to some audio files I have downloaded.

I'm wondering if I could listen to audio books on it?

The page said it supports mp3, so yes.
mine is similar to this, but only has one usb port, and that port is used or charging and power, and not for a usb stick. The SD card on mine is the mp3 storage device.
The problem with audio books is that will the player remember where you left off, and the answer is probably no. Audio books can consist of one big file or several files, and you may have to keep going through them to find your spot where you left off.
If you are looking for a great phone app for audio books, but it is not free, the Smart AudioBook Player is fantastic. It remembers where you left off, pauses while you talk on the phone and has a three position volume boost, so you can turn it up a fair bet to drown out the underground.0 -
