Don't forget to go through cashback sites when booking holibobs, if you're spending larger amounts you can get a decent few quid back towards your next triphttps://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase/p1

That sounds like a good plan! We have a "Holiday pot" for our main trip, then the "Joint fun" accounts tends to pick up the tab - or at least contribute towards - weekends away and things like that. As and when we have another proper "holiday" to account for in a year, we ring-fence the money in to the joint fun account for a while to cover that - with our personal spends taking over the cost of the random trips, days out etc.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

It's fabulous isn't it SA. I also love the support and encouragement people give and there's never any judgement even if we've had a wobble or done something daft.Sun_Addict said:I love it when an idea is being pondered and people chip in with their thoughts. Cashback adds up nicely. I've "earned" £1700 in total from £co over the years that Ive been using it. I check for discounts on my blue light card and got 10% off next year's ferry costs.PennysIntoPounds said:Don't forget to go through cashback sites when booking holibobs, if you're spending larger amounts you can get a decent few quid back towards your3 -
@Alchemilla - we are going back to Guernsey which seems to have become one of our favourite places. Mind you with views like this from our window it's hardly surprising.
