My to do list spends most of its time being put off and the list just gets longer. My brain is willing but the energy level isnt.

I would so love to only work 2 days a week. I’ve always been full time apart from a few years part time when my children were young. Thankfully I enjoy my job and it’s very flexible.

    Thank you LH and SH.
SunAddict I am really relishing the flip of my work life balance ... from 5 days work and 2 days off to 5 days off and 2 days work.  Could you do flexible working such as a 9 day fortnight?  As a carer I'm sure this would be allowed.  You could even forget to mention to Mr SA that you were having a non-working day and go out with friends 😇

This week we have had a lovely trip to a local garden for their festival of food.  We agreed in advance that we would spend some money but would have a budget for treats.  In the past we have spent absolute fortunes on sauces, pickles, cheeses, olives etc.  this time we bought a packet of chilli sausages which we had for dinner and which were very, very nice.  we bought a Malay rendang spice mix which we made in the slow cooker and gave us 3 meals and we bought a bottle of toffee apple cider from Kent which is chilling in the fridge ready for Friday night.  We really enjoyed making our choices.
we took lunch with us which we ate in the sun listening to live music.  This is the place that sells a slice of cake for £4.75 so I dread to think what our lunch would have cost!

It sounds a lovely day out and fab work life balance! I'm hoping that they bring in 4 day weeks for the same £ while I'm still working for a living. That would be fabulous!
