I pay £425 for two 9 year old British Shorthairs (1 x m: 1 x f) and a 7 year old female British Shorthair.
Fortunately never made a claim but premiums kept rising. Was with Saga since kittens but they wanted over £600 at renewal (November) and the excess went up too to include a percentage of bill as well as fixed lump sum. Shopped around and obtained the better price through Direct Line that also only has the fixed excess sum too.
Morale is to shop around, especially if no pre-existing conditions.0
