Slight squeaking noise sometimes whilst driving

Options
Hi all,

I have had my new 62 plate chevrolet spark for around 3 weeks now.

All has been good with it apart from the fact that sometimes i hear a slight squeak noise when parking, braking etc. As i say i only hear it sometimes, not all the time.

I dont know whether this will be a big repair job or just a case of something getting oiled? I am no mechanic :rotfl: so i wondered if anyone could give some advice?

Thank you.

Speak to your trusted mechanic and get them to check the wear on the pads and discs, but its probably the pad gripping the metal brake disc just before it stops.

Some Vauxhall marks (Insignia/Astra) squeak on the rubber mountings where the airbox is mounted.
