    I also have a (slightly lower) car allowance, but get stung 40% income tax and NI on it, so remember to factor that into your calculations (as well as the BiK you now won't be paying on a company-car).
    My company (officially) have a max 100,000 mile condition, but in practice don't enforce it.
    I usually buy cars around 3-4 years old outright and that leaves plenty in the maintenance pot - especially as I do most of it myself ;)
    As others here have suggested, the most cost effective route is to buy something outright that has done most of the depreciation already, with a loan if you have to - and you'll be quids in.
    Check the road tax costs and get some insurance quotes also - may be steep for the first few years as you have no personal no-claims bonus. Make sure you add business-use cover.
