  • They will see 6 years worth of payments, balances etc yes.

    How they take it is another thing since each lender is different.

    If in doubt use a broker when it comes to your mortgage.

    Stop applying for further credit as well leading up to your mortgage application.

    If you are asking whether you can get yourself to "perfect" in 12-18 months with hard work, the answer is no. You have things in your credit history that will still be showing. Generally speaking though, the older an "issue" is, the less that a lender will care. You only need to look "good enough" to the lender that you are actually dealing with, and that can be done. You don't need perfection.
