Connect computer to projector in another room

I'm trying to find out the best and more practical way of connecting my desktop computer to a projector that is in an adjacent room. The distance between the two is approx 5-6 m and I will also need to connect USB devices.
I know that there are long HDMI cables, but does anybody know if you can get full HD quality over a 6-metre cable?
Casting to the projector (or any other wireless method) is not an option because I will also be using the computer for gaming and can't have any more lag (the lag from the projector alone is already barely manageable).

Perfectly doable. Standard setup for most office meeting rooms, where cables are routed through the ceiling/floor.0
