Credit Rating and Bank Account

Options
I'm applying for my first credit card. It is a Barclaycard, and I was turned down once before (in the process of getting my credit report so I can check there's not a glaringly obvious reason).

My question is this: on the application form, it asks for details of a bank account "to help Barclaycard make a decision". I have a choice between my Natwest student account or my Barclays current account that I use for matched betting which, although is no risk in practice does count as gambling to the banks (check the Gambling Introductory Offer Loopholes board if you haven't a clue what I'm on about). I've had the Barclays account very slightly longer. Which do I use? Having dealings with that bank would surely be a boost, but would the gambling transactions make me look like too much of a risk? Does it make no difference at all?

Thanks!

Even if you use Natwest, Barclaycard will be able to see you have a Barclays
current account. Perhaps you should use the bank with the most money going into it and also showing regular payments.
