Highview help Wigan Robin Park

Hi all
Thank you so much for all your threads so far this is so helpful and fascinating to read, also very angry at these 'criminals'!!
Apologies but I cannot find any clear answers to my situation.
Me and husband went Xmas shopping with 1 and 3 yr old children. He followed in his van to put the kids presents in. It took ages as you can imagine. I took kids home in our car, he stayed and collected toys from 'Smyths' on the Robin Park retail park in Wigan. It meant his van was parked for 4 and half hours, exceeding the max 4 hour stay, which we were unaware of,
So I've asked 'Smyths' to cancel and they can't. I will be complaining to my MP.
Can I still appeal even though he exceeded the 4 hr time limit?
On PCN appealswebsite do I just not choose any of the 2 options that ask you to confirm if you were / were not the driver?
What reason do I select as to why I am appealing?
Do I put the blue text in the further information section?
Thank you in advance for any answers to the above

To answer your questions
Yes you can still appeal.
Do not tick that you were the driver. Do not admit to being the driver.
Don't know. I can't see the choices you are given.

do not reveal who was driving
forget what happened
appeal as keeper using the blue text appeal
read this similar one you failed to find (ignore the circumstances)

If your husband is the registered keeper of the vehicle he must appeal. You can do the work on it, but everything must be in his name.On PCN appealswebsite do I just not choose any of the 2 options that ask you to confirm if you were / were not the driver?

Reason for appeal? What are the options?
What does the portal tell you as to where to type the aappeal? Follow that. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thank you so much for the above I am so grateful!
I had read the above thread but didn't think it would apply to me as they had left the car park so hadn't exceeded the time limit, where as husband was 1/2 hour over the 4hr allowance, even though we didn't realise there was a limit! So I wasn't sure if I could still appeal.
The options are:
blue badge
not aware of T and C's
paid for parking
vehicle broken down
had permission to park on site
stayed at hotel
extenuating circumstances
other
I've put the ones that I think might be applicable to me in bold and just put the other options FYI.
Thanks again all0 -
I have these 2 options on the first page
Tick here to confirm that you were the driver and that the PCN you have received contains the correct information
Tick here to confirm that you were not the driver or that the PCN you have received contains incorrect information
On the second page it asks for your name0 -
Tick other and to confirm that you were not the driver or that the PCN you have received contains incorrect information
The name you give is of course the name of the Registered Keeper.0 -
You are brilliant, thank you0
