Demand made by landlord

Me for one. But then I am the resident landlord, so my house.
One of my lodgers also has a cat - It spends most of the time hiding up under a bed (the cat, not the lodger), so we don't really notice it is around.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

I did. Our first cat (Merlin- known as Uncle M in his dotage) adopted me when he was a kitten. I was living in a shared (rented) house at the time. He was the most gregarious cat and loved nothing better than a good party. Everyone loved him.
He never did lose his love of people and bustle. I can see him now, in our previous house, tottering down the stairs on his arthritic legs because friends had come round and he wanted to join in. Dear wee soul that he was. He finally died when he was 20 and is buried in our old garden...:)0 -

I stand corrected on the house share scenario, I'm just amazed people do it.An answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......0

It more or less happened by accident in my case diggingdude. I'd always said I wouldn't take on a cat under those circumstances but....
He did live with my parents for a few years when Mr Skiddaw and I got together as we were living in a flat and he was used to having access to the outdoors (definitely didn't think it was fair to force him to be an indoor cat) but he came back to us when we moved to a house with a garden.
He was the dearest cat imaginable, though to be fair, I wouldn't generally be endorsing pets in shared houses.0 -
