Barclays Mortgage Application - FTB and SCARED!!!

Hi, 
I just have been informed by my mortgage broker that desktop valuation have been done by Barclays. Does it indicate that they are happy with lending facility?

Valuation is last step before offer for Barclays. So you should get an offer within 5 working days.
keep us updated as I’m curious to know how long will it take from valuation to offer .

I went through the decision in principle with a broker on Thursday, completed the application Friday, and have today, Tuesday received the formal offer from Barclays.  My broker said he wished they were all that simple - I'm thankfully not stretched on the mortgage, secured a low price on the house I'm buying, and had all my paperwork filed on Google Drive so it was easy to respond quickly to any requests for documentation.

hi I wonder if anyone here knows if mortgage application goes for random audit checks what is it the bank or the auditor could be checking? We have been asked for dwp statement. Just anxious.

Hi wondering if any of you know anything,  we have just had an offer from Bank of Ireland. There is one thing that is concerning us. We have been sent a  Guarantor deed basically asking for a Guarantor. I have spoken to our mortgage adviser and she has said you dont have a Guarantor mortgage so she doesn't think it should concern us. Why would it be in our mortgage offer pack?
