Money Supermarket - a warning

Hello.

Back in August I underwent a major operation.

I knew I needed to change energy supplier by September and, although I have always gone through the energy club, for some reason(I blame it on my medication) I went through top cashback and Money Supermarket to get a British Gas deal.

All seemed fine and it tracked at £0.00 as per the terms and conditions as it would only pay out when the transaction was validated. I looked at it periodically and it was still showing the same up until a couple of weeks ago when it had disappeared from my pending list and was showing as declined even though everything went through and I have been with British Gas for four months,

I tried calling Money Supermarket but they were less than helpful.

So, this is a warning that if you do want to change suppliers please go through the MSE links and not Money Supermarket via a cashback site. I do not blame the cashback site as obviously they can only go on the information given to them by the supplier.

Everyone have a wonderful Christmas and a MSE saving New Year! :xmastree:

I'm sorry, but you are blaming the wrong people.

For whatever reason, you went through TopCashBack.
It is therefore TopCashBack that pays (or doesn't as is so often the case) the cashback.

Aboslutely nothing to do with the organsiation you then bought through, hence why you presumably found them unhlepful in this instance.

Cashback was entirely the responsibility of TopCashBack - it's them you need to address!
The amount of times they fail to pay cashback is unbelievable.
