Paying big bills by bank transfer - any cashback? stoozing? can I help myself?

Hi All,

Normally I take great pleasure in spending even small amounts of money on my cashback credit card, but about to start spending many thousands a week for many weeks on builders and looks like this has to be bank transfer.

Has anyone got a good way of making even a little bit back on these payments? Stoozing off a 0% balance card? Or something to do with rewards spending?! Packaged bank account?! Air Miles? Can't quite figure it out despite many weeks of googling... :-)

With a CC you can get any rewards only for paying by the CC.
You can't make bank transfers from a CC, whether it's 0% or not. Some CCs may offer money transfers to your bank account, but I don't think that any offers free transfers nowadays.

Regardless, nobody will reward you for bank transfers. In your case it was easier to make "a little bit" by NOT spending, rather than by spending.
