What’s my number plate worth?
Options
Have a private plate on my car (T111MJB) and someone has asked about buying it.
Not fussed about the plate, it came with the car.
What’s it worth to sell? How much of a faff is it to transfer?
Thanks.

It's worth as much as somebody's willing to pay. DVLA select have a huge swathe of T111xxx plates for £250 - just about their minimum charge.
Transfer is straightforward.
1. Take it off your car and put it on retention.

2. Assign the retention to them.

But make sure that you take into the consideration the fees that DVLA charge as part of the prices. So if you intend to sell for £300, charge the £80 fee on top as your starting point.0 -
Well at least someone has shown interest so the ball is in your court. I'd start at £500 plus the £80 assignment fee.0

Don't forget that you will have to get another reg for your car (free when you take the current one off) buy a set of number plates for this reg. and then pay a small fortune in admin fees getting your insurer to change the reg on your policy to the new one.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)

I sold a couple through Elite Registrations a few years ago - they did free valuations on line - if they are still around1
