Payment received via PayPal but no ship to address

Hi,
Has anyone come across this before; sold an item on eBay and recived payment via PayPal, however, there is no ship to address listed on the PayPal website.
The e-mail from PayPal and eBay both have a collection address listed. My gut instinct is that if I send to that I won't be elligible for seller proection.
Can I get them to add a shipping address or is it easier to cancel the transaction?

I think that I would cancel and refund the order before contacting the buyer to explain why the order had been refunded.
Depending on how you feel about the situation, you could give the buyer the option of re-purchasing or not.
Personally, I would go with the "or not" option and would block the buyer. But that's how I am

Have you offered click and collect?
Is the address a shop i.e. Argos?
You Post to that address and they collect it. Perfectly normal0 -

If you've offered Click and Collect in your listing that's unfair to the buyer.0 -
I have had a few click and collect buyers.
I have also used click and collect myself. I had an item delivered to Argos and collected it with no problems.
If you do not want to do this you should make sure the option is not in your listing.0 -
I'm not really sure what you mean when you say collection address? as long as you send to the address ebay are telling you to send to you are covered. maybe its click and collect, or a shipping company etcYou're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *0

Surely if you sold an item and it was for collection (wether right or wrong!) It should have your address not the buyers???0

Thanks for the replies; just for clarification, it is not an Argos click and collect (I have had those before with no issue) but something I have never seen before. It is almost as though they are setup as a business for receiving payments but never bought anything?!I agree, OP can you clarify- exactly what do you see when you check the paypal transaction?
This is what eBay shows;
PayPal has no address;

That's a standard click and collect address, note the ECP number. They have a local shop registered to the click and collect scheme- just send it with all the details exactly as shown- the ecp number is the important bit.
We have several small independent shops round here that accept packages and generate addresses like that- and I get one or two a month going out like it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
