Hi mesr's

Have this week forgot how to change Win10 -possibly Display Settings though not sure.
One laptop -Main screen with Win10+Required Apps
One 24" LCD Monitor.
Connected via via-vga cable -usb adaptor.
Thankfully dual screen does work immediately on boot up of laptop.
I require to log into Remote DeskTop which is fine.
How do I then change win10 settings to allow me to take remote desk top app window and vertically move it to top of laptop screen into Monitor screen.
Think I was last using Extended display which currently only allows me to swipe Remote Desktop right of laptop screen which moves into left of Monitor screen whereas I want to move it up from laptop to monitor.

I'v read your post 4 times ans still unsure what is going on.

    Both screens work together?
You can drag the mstsc (terminal services) screen to the other screen?

In terminal services, before connecting you can set the screen size by selecting the options - also while you are there enable cut and paste too.

Thanks think I found the answer via you tube though laptop+monitor aren't setup tonight.
Though managed to update win10 to latest insiders build earlier.
Such a simple answer, maybe I'll try tomorrow afternoon.
When an additional monitor is connected to laptop in described connections.
Display setting should detect 2 screens 1/2 with a tv type symbol for each showing.
The answer via you tube suggests user to drag 2 screen above 1 screen thus when I run my Remote Desktop on laptop i.e. screen 1 then I could then drag any programme or app from screen 1 to 2 Vertically which I fined much more simpler than dragging right or left,

I always line up the monitors to reflect how I physically see them.

This is very recent setup, intend to negotiate a few hours working from home, only I forgot how to change dual display the way I find useful.
Any further tips will be helpful, thanks

Possibly later today, hopefully it';s as simple as above.
Remote Desktop is required to Via Non Laptop screen i.e. Monitor
P.s.I don't use surface as shown in your vId,I can use ios multitasking via this ipad11" though no use for work old school apps.
Possibly latest win10 insiders which re- introduced powers tools inc' Fancy Zones could offer multiple re sizeable virtual desktops -though that build is installed on personal i3 laptop.
I don't have Admin access to install any updates via employers laptop hence Monitor is used as 2nd screen.
    Thanks
