have you had a oil and Filter change recently?
I had a very similar issue on the C4, after paying a small fortune for diagnostics and trips to the Gurage.
It turned out that the Oil filter was the cause.
Inside the filter is a small plastic piece that presses down on the fitting. It had been damaged during the change and was not applying the required pressure to the fitting.
So it cost me an additional £230 for the sake of a £4 filter.
I love modern cars, I do.:jTo be Young AGAIN!!!!...what a wonderfull thought!!!!!:rolleyes:0 -
You sure its "Level" & NOT "Pressure" for the oil...Life in the slow lane0

As the OP states it's the amber oil warning, this is the oil level.
The warning for low oil pressure is a red indication.0 -

Was the filter Citroen or OEM or was it a pattern part ?
