Options
The car start fine, no warning light but after driving a mile and half the Low engine oil level warning (yellow) and few minutes later (car with spanner) service vehicle soon(yellow) warning light comes on. Stopped the car engine off start the car again no light all good few minutes driving warning light comes on again. The light only illuminate when driving.

The local garage diagnosed sensor bank faculty which was replaced and and never solved the issue. this only happen when driving. Tried doing pedal test myself unsuccessful so far. I'll greatly appreciate if someone direct me in the right direction.

    how is the oil level?
I am not a cat (But my friend is)
  • The level is at maximum
  • have you had a oil and Filter change recently?

I had a very similar issue on the C4, after paying a small fortune for diagnostics and trips to the Gurage.

It turned out that the Oil filter was the cause.

Inside the filter is a small plastic piece that presses down on the fitting. It had been damaged during the change and was not applying the required pressure to the fitting.

So it cost me an additional £230 for the sake of a £4 filter.

    I love modern cars, I do. :)

As the OP states it's the amber oil warning, this is the oil level.
The warning for low oil pressure is a red indication.
