CLAIM FORM UK Car Park Management Limited - HELP!!

Hi guys
So this claim is for two old tickets (Jan 2018) - both in a residential parking bay, where I lived at the time - that requires a residential permit that was free, might I add.
So the first ticket on 8/01/2018 was due to not showing my permit as it had blown off the dashboard (rookie error, I know!) and the second ticket on 21/01/2018 was because my wheel was turned to the right and slightly over the line (the parking spaces are on a roundabout and they were definitely taking the Micky!!!)
So I wrote to them twice and got ignored, and when I got another letter I sent off the same defence letter (helped by a draft template on this forum) with recorded delivery - only then did they say that they received it but it was too late.
I moved to a different property since and kind of forgot about it - but I get my post redirected and I have now received a county claim form!!!
In my situation, do you think I have a leg to stand on? Do I put my new address down for correspondence?
Is it worth going for a defence saying that I did have a valid permit, and it wasn’t a pay and display so they technically didn’t lose any money, and having produced my permit, that should be a good enough appeal?
I will look for the photos of the parking “outside of the lines” - they are just money grabbers!
Any advice on what to do now will be of great help - have read through the other threads about resident tickets but I can’t see anything that is quite the same.
Thanks in advance!

what does your lease/AST say about parking? Does it mention the need to display a permit? If not then it may take primacy over the self serving TnC of the scammer, and interfere with your lawful right to “quiet enjoyment” of your property, possible an offence under The Landlord and Tenants Acts.
Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP after the election, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and in some cases, cancellation.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
