It sounds from what you have written as if you are in an area where houses are moving fast because it is a popular area. For this situation you need to get the information about the properties by email direct from the agent and before they are advertised online.
If your offers keep getting rejected it could mean that you are not in a position to move fast or that you are always offering too low. In an area where houses are moving fast you will need to offer much nearer to the asking price because if you don't someone else will. If you have a house to sell it might be better to sell that first and rent so that you are not in a chain.0 -
Are you offering below the asking price? If so by how much?0

Thanks for the suggestions.
I was registered with one or two of them but i'm looking at areas further out now so new EAs. I do register with them & do get emails. I try to get to them asap but i work in a busy job.
Many times its multiple people at viewings & if its a decent house then its put your highest bid in. The last offer i made had 8+ offers so i knew i didn't stand a chance as i wasn't paying more than i thought it was worth (the asking price).
I had 3 other offers turned down 2 at just over asking price one was 10k under the asking price because i think its way over priced asking for 150+, in fact now i think i still offered too much anyway the ea was not very nice to deal with & probably didn't even pass the offer on.
I've now seen another house a 2 bed semi but again its seems steep, they are looking for 140 a house exactly the same on that street although not as well kept sold for 108 in June.
It just all seems a bit crazy but i spoke to 3 work colleagues & things were much more civilized.
I wonder if its the price range im going for?0 -
It sounds like you are just looking to buy in an area that is popular. Doubt it is a price bracket problem more a lack of houses coming onto the market in the area and demand being high for houses in the area.0
