50k emails? You have a serious management problem unless you are Jeff besos. I keep mine below 100. I would either employ a pa or set up a new Gmail account and only give the address out to essential contacts and let the Hotmail account slowly die (forget about it). If it's important they will ring you. You should be saving invoices to your hard drive/ server

  • its ok finally figured this out. Please close the thread
  • Be very careful downloading your emails and deleting the ones on the hotmail sever. I did this and then my hard drive died and I lost the lot.

I think that the storage space is adequate if you delete the junk and unwanted mail. You could also pay for one of the hotmail plans to increase your storage space but that should not be necessary if you keep your inbox in shape.

Obviously you need a backup if saving invoices to a hard drive. I didnt think i needed to mention that

Do you want to share how it was "figured out" rather than requesting to close the thread, it may help others?
