Great job Pocket Poor. For whatever reason, once the mortgage hit below 50K, it seemed more real than ever that this is definitely going to happen and I'm going to pay off a mortgage in my lifetime. I hope you guys have the same feeling and inspiration.
    Mortgage start date Dec 2015 - $64,655.00
Mortgage end date Dec 2045 - NOT!!!!
    Mortgage balance  - $4600.00
    Business Savings $43,310/100k
Hope to be mortgage-free by end of 2023

Thanks for calling in Longway2go and LeighofMar. It’s very exciting being sub 50K, you can almost see the end!
I find I don’t want to spend money on the house or make big purchases because I want to direct all Spare money to the mortgage because you can really see the numbers decreasing. It’s very motivating.
I going to take a peek at your diaries for some motivation.

    Morning all,
Another £100.00 sent to the mortgage, new balance £47,358.00.
Payday next week, should be able to send a fairly chunky overpayment then.
