I am about to Factory reset of a HP Pavilion using the recovery drive which will return it to win 8 will the update automatically invite me to get win 10 for free, or how can I get it.
It says on the site £119.99 is this right or is it still free?
Also I right in saying to do this total reset and reinstall drivers and original software I have to type in Recovery Manager?

Would a reset within W10 not be a better option?

Do you mean to do a full factory reset but first download the download media file https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
Or how can I do it within Win 10?0 -

This link talks about a clean install were I presume I would lose everything.0 -

Backup first? If you did a full reset back to Win 8 you'll likely lose everything anyway.
PS - an occasional fresh install is a good way to declutter; but it's not the solution just because Firefox isn't working correctly. :eek:0
