Hi All We have recently found out our numberplate has been cloned. First we received a parking fine and now a speeding ticket, both up north and we are down south! The DVLA can put a marker on your data about the cloning.

Stop phoning. No idea why people pick up the phone about important matters.

Deal with this properly in writing by letter, showing proof to the DVLA that you have an incident number about two cases where the DVLA wrongly released your data due to a cloned numberplate, and require the DVLA to report this to the ICO and stop releasing your data regarding incidents in the North of the Country, and to place a 'marker' against your data to protect you.
