I want to ensure I choose to spend my money on energy and vehicle fuel that does not benefit Scottish businesses in any way.
Which green Gas and Elec provider's should I look at.
Which forecourts should I avoid?

Good luck in your quest. You will need it. Avoiding Scottish oil and gas is impossible.0

Why? What have the Scots done to deserve your personal antagonism?I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

Must be a Lib Dem venting about losing Jo Swinson as leader
Just to be clear - if you do identify any Scottish businesses I will go out my way to give them at least some trade just for that reasonI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine0 -
I think your right, I'll be on my bike from my current green provider, to a general low cost edf solution. 1st Why, I don't want to give political weight to SNP buy increasing tax take, helping fulfil their promises and strengthen the case for indyref2. I'm sadly even changing whisky to whiskey! 2nd why, despite the stance I don't want things to change! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Well the OP cannot be from a Boris 'one country' supporter,
or a social inclusion supporter,
or someone with liberal/democratic attitudes
etc. nor someone with racial prejudice since most of the companies are just plain global.....
I too fail to understand what the reason might be. Maybe Jeil will explain? 'Those' supposed companies can then refuse to serve him/her......

I see. Well most companies are not 'Scottish' as such but owned by the shareholders from who knows where and any potential tax take would be determined more by the global market and those making the tax decisions. So for any effect you need to stop buying from any company that is geographically involved or those setting the market.I'm sadly even changing whisky to whiskey! 2nd why, despite the stance I don't want things to change!
Like Brexit the support ignores the real economic case and is closer to a belief.
If this is as a result of the recent elections first passed the post results then the huge number of seats won by the SNP does not equate to the same %population vote and some of the vote will have been purely the only credible anti brexit voting chance.
Like all political parties the SNP will claim a mandate (true or not) based upon seats won. Unionists will try and dodge any issues and 'requests' for another ref with the same mandate claim.
Tis going to be interesting times.......0
