PRA Group Credit File

Hi everyone,

Apologies if this has been asked before!...

I have two defaults with PRA that were sold by Barclays in 2014. One is an unsecured loan and the other was a credit card, I’ve been making repayments to PRA since it was sold on however, I’ve had a nosey at my credit file today and I’ve found a discrepancy. It states that the loan default from Barclays end was recorded at £10,680 but PRA maintain the balance was £11,700. Clearly that’s quite a bit difference!. I’ve raised a dispute but over the phone I was told “we are looking at your credit file now & it states £11,700.” Ive screen shotted proof from my end and sent it over.

Do I have a leg to stand on with this?, is it possible the credit report is wrong and they are right?.

Thanks.
