This company offers solar panel products to heat your hot water.
It seems that the company was set up by the directors of Simplee Solar after Simplee Solar was fined £40,000 at the Bournemouth Crown Court (plus £27,000 costs).
I had one a sales rep vist my house to do a 'survey' but it soon became clear he was not much interested in doing a 'survey' but he was very interested in giving his 'sales spiel'.
Anyway I did not want to listen, so I just pointed out to him about the fine imposed by the court and he promptly left!
Since then I have been plagued with phone calls from the company (a dozen within 60 minutes of the sales rep leaving). Within 10 minutes of signing-up for BT 'Choose to refuse' I successfully blocked the company from calling me again.
Solar Direct UK claims to have ISO approval (it has 'certificates' on its website). The certificates were issued on 10 May 2007 - which is rather surprising as the company only came into existence on 23 May 2007.
