I suggest you ask on the Puerto del Carmen forum on Tripadvisor. PDC isn't a resort I'm familiar enough with to advise.0

Just back from Puerto Del Carman and in our hotel there was a number of solo travellers who had no issues in joining in with the majority of holiday
Makers.I would suggest the walk to Puerto Calero from PDC and it’s a lovely harbour to take a quiet lunch and a couple of drinks.0
