Cauliflower cheese on the menu tonight courtesy of Mr T.
Have been browsing through the Tesco Christmas magazine.
There's a Jamie Oliver recipe for this ^^^^ with crispy bacon (I might substitute pancetta).
Or there's also a recipe for cauliflower steaks with brie.
I have some Castello brie with truffle (bought from a little local end-of-line freezer type shop 2 for £1.50).
Recipe has chestnuts which I have in and cranberries which I'd miss out.
Seen lots of chefs doing cauliflower steaks so might give it a try.

    Apologies for going off-topic. :o

I do cauliflower steaks as a regular side dish. To get a decent steak though you need a fairly large cauliflower and the last week or so I haven't seen any decent ones. :(

My everyday recipe is less exotic. I spray with oil, season and then add spices of choice, currently garlic granules and paprika. :)

    Hi Surfsister,

The Lidl advert was in today's (Tues 17th Dec) Metro and it said the veg were 19p. I deleted my post about it later on because others were finding the price had dropped even further to 15p. Sorry for any confusion. :o
It's anyone's guess what the price will be by tomorrow! ;)

UPDATE: New advert for Lidl veg in Wed 18th Dec Metro is now showing prices as 15p
  • The rumoured 15p LIDL deal is looking doubtful.
