When applying for exemption for a vehicle road tax disc,
(due to being on PIP), when you go to the post office to get this processed, what documents do you need to bring with you?
and for the last one, the DWP certificate, does it matter it this original letter is 1-2 years old? (the date on the letter is 2 years ago, or even 1 year ago)?
(due to being on PIP), when you go to the post office to get this processed, what documents do you need to bring with you?
- Vehicle tax reminder (from DVLA) ?
- The latest passed MOT certificate?
- original certificate of entitlement (PIP certificate), DLA404?
and for the last one, the DWP certificate, does it matter it this original letter is 1-2 years old? (the date on the letter is 2 years ago, or even 1 year ago)?

What you need is the serial number shown on the original certificate because you don't receive a new one every year.
Do remember that you will only be able to use the vehicle for the benefit of the disabled person.0 -
Note not all PO deal with disabled taxing .
Main Post Offices are best .
Benifit of the disabled claimant is far more flexible than it used to be .0 -

Simply being on PIP does not entitle anyone to an exemption
You need to be on High rate mobility - if you are on standard rate mobility, you get a 50% discount !0 -
