Well folks, that's me done. I cleared it last week but wanted to get a clearer picture of finances closer to pay day before sharing.

    #175 = £7800 / £7800

It feels good- a little disappointed with my recent stumble which WAS easily avoided, but being held accountable here helped me jump back on the wagon and clear it as a matter of priority!  B)
I would like to thank everyone on this thread- seeing how everybody is getting on with their own situations certainly egged me on, and I can safely say i would be nowhere near paid off by now if i was left to my own devices, so thank you.  o:)
I am off to the £1000 emergency fund thread next- however, I am helping my other half with her finances too. She has a plan, and is chipping away, and to help her capacity / interest rate wise I've took a chunk of it on myself- so I'll more than likely be back next year with a new target to clear a chunk off that, if that is allowed
    ST182,
Congratulations on reaching your debt  freedom goal! Whoop Whoop!

  • Afternoon Everyone #030 in the house!
So, I have decided to use our small savings pot to get rid of a bit more of our credit card debt.
The saving pot is making no interest, so I'm using it, instead of waiting till December.

Paid off £700 from DH 0% CC £234 remaining (£117 x2 to pay Nov and Dec)

I've fell off the wagon ever so slightly this month. The new Xbox Series X is released next month and with the COVID situation and the time of year, I am playing more and more on my current Xbox so I slipped and purchased one. I've added £500 to my total. I'll hopefully be able to offset it a little by selling my current Xbox for £100-150.

    I've also made a payment of £157.54

  • Hi has the first page totals been updated recently? It doesn't matter if it hasn't but not sure if I've been overlooked.
