Egg - PPI refund fair?

Hey there all - hope you are ready for Christmas!!!
I had an Egg card with PPI /(unfairly!) and back in 2009 I got £700 back from them. Had the card for a few years, not a huge amount on it, in fairness - maybe a couple of £1000's.
Question - how do I know if that was a fair refund? Anyone else had similar experience? This was paid out automatically - I did not complain, however have since logged it and they have said that it 'was dealt with already'. Whilst that is true, was it dealt with 'fairly', or should I push for more?
Anyone been in similar situation?
Thanks in advance!
Alex

You waited 10 years to question the refund? Move on.0

You will be refunded what you paid plus 8% interest. It can't be unfair as that's what everyone who has a successful claim is paid. There are no variables.0

Correct. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.0

Even if it hasn't been "fair", asking about it ten years after you accepted the refund "in full and final settlement" would be utterly futile.
In any case, you received the refund as defined by the regulator, so you will get no more (or less) than this.
Time for you to move on from PPI complaints I think..0
