Searching for high mileage cars on autotrader problem
I was talking today about high mileage motorway-driven cars being undervalued relative to a low mileage city-driven car. Unfortunately autotrader does not allow you to search for 200,000 car without 14,000 being included in the search.
I wonder if there is a way to exlude searches for low mileage cars buy using some web trickery.

Download the app. That allows you to set min / max mileage on a search.
I'm sure the website does as well, but the app definitely does.0 -
I would have thought 200,000 miles was pushing it a bit.
100k to 150k would seem to give a bit more useful life for little extra cost.0 -

I've had around 3 VAG cars bought with over 200k that have been sold on again as going concerns.
Kia Ceed on 206k too, written off at around 216k due to the OH.0 -
Bought a Rover 800 Diesel with over 200k miles, used it to tow my caravan all over the country for a few years. It was still going 4 years after i sold it.
Mondeo diesel sold with 170k on the clock and the new owner did over 60k in 2 years.
Low mileage used then a high mileage car is ideal.
With the autotrader i just stick low to high price and stick the oldest year that i want and the cheapest ones will 99.9% of the time be the high mileage ones.
Then its just finding the ones with the right service history.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

200,00 motorway driving is going to be better than 70k city driving in most cases.

I did think about this. I think I will reconsider this.0
