I tried Azimo as suggested in the recent email in order to get the £25 Amazon voucher. The rate was very competitive and as the first two transfers were free I thought I'd give it a go. What a mistake! When I tried to transfer to a Wells Fargo account that I have in the USA Azimo required my address in the US which, of course, I don't have. It didn't matter if I tried to transfer to the bank account directly or using SWIFT they still wanted my US address. I emailed support and had to wait several days for a reply which was 'use the bank's address' but by this time I'd given up waiting for a reply and used my wife's name and a friend's address in Florida. Two days later they ask me for proof of ID so I photo'd my driver's license and sent it in by email. Four days later I get an email telling me my transfer has been cancelled for one of three reasons none of which could be correct. In a chat that took ages I was told I had not provided proof of ID of the recipient to which I replied I hadn't been asked for it. Apparently they'd sent me an email (oh no they didn't!) so I gave the details in the chat and asked if the transfer would go ahead. No, I'd have to submit it again so I asked them to delete my account.I cannot recommend this company.1

Although their exchange rate will be mediocre.0 -
Lloyds/Halifax/BoS do free SEPA payments under some EU directive or other - perhaps that will change next year?0

The UK remains in SEPA as a non-EEA SEPA country. Aside from potentially having to transfer additional data, which they already possess, and which they might have been transmitting already, there should not be any change. https://www.europeanpaymentscouncil.eu/news-insights/news/brexit-1-january-2021-onwards-get-ready-end-transition-period0
