Stubhub Failure to Pay

I recently listed and sold two tickets with Stubhub.
When I contacted them some time after the expected payment date (now months ago) they provided me with a transaction number which they said evidenced the payment was made to my nominated account.
I contacted my building society which confirmed in writing that this payment had not been made and that they did not have any record of the transaction ID.
This information was provided to StubHub who have continued to claim that because they have the ID and no record of a rejection that they believe the payment was made. This being even though I provided (st their request) a copy of my statement for the period they claim payment was made in.
Looking at other forums I have taken steps to contact organisations who offer international debt recovery. Unfortunately the amount (£145) is too low for them to be interested.
StubHub being based in California leaves no option for a U.K. based small claim however there is a California based small
Claims process available to non-US residents to use but I am not too hopeful on how successful this maybe (even if I happen to forward this to some their top brass).
I consider myself usually a bit of an expert on complaining effectively but with this one I am a little stumped for options and would welcome any advice or experiment from those in the know.
Thanks in advance
Paul

Have they confirmed that the bank account details you've provided are the details they paid the money to?You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0

Is Stubhub in the UK either of these Limited Companies? (Both having the same address).

Check the T&Cs of your contract very carefully - you may be able to pursue a small claim in the UK.0
