SDL Valuation Surveyors Experience?

Hi lovely folks!!
I rentnly had my house 'down valued' by E-Serv Surveyors (unfairly, I feel..as apparently they told lenders it was due to ''market uncertainty' and not any problem with the house...it was only on for £105k anyway!) also, someone told me E-Surv regularly down value houses..but enough of that..
My friend is now nervous as she has SDL Surveyors due to visit tomorrow to value her house for her FTB and is nervous THEY may down value it. I don't know them. Has anyone else had SDL out to value their home please? and if so, were they good and fair etc?
