Terminal 4 Long Stay Parking

Hi, I parked at T4 long stay pre-booked 6 weeks for £208. Had to stay longer than planned at my destination but when I went on website to extend my stay from overseas there was no option on their website to extend stay as last day of previously booked period was a week in the past. I rang them and they advised not a problem, just pay at gates upon exit. When I arrived back 4 weeks later, got to gate expecting a charge similar to amount booked for the origiinal 6 weeks of £200 or slightly less. Get to exit and flashed up on screen is charge of £650. I was absolutely horrified. Noticed after investigating further that buried in the fine print and completely hidden from you is that once your booking has expired you will be charged drive up rate of £23 per day. Anyone else had similar. The whole situation stinks as I tried to extend my booking but because their website prevents you from amending when date is in past you are forced onto punishing drive up daily rate, £3.00 vs £23.00 per day. Anyone else had similar or challenged it?
