But since this isn't about Motability anyway, and Motability customers aren't reliant on dealer loaners...0 -
My problem is that many garages only loan out small, cheap cars. I can't get in most of them. Luckily my best local garage is just a walk away.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

I wasn't, actually.
I was meaning whichever of the two ways.
- Not legal.
- Not physically able.
Since Twunc's confirmed that the answer is "no" to both, and it's merely that he'd prefer not to because his confidence is a bit wobbly since it's been a while...
Umm, sorry. Here's the keys to a manual, or here's the number for a taxi firm. Your choice.
My knees have both gone in the last few years - possibly preventing me from using a clutch ...0 -
Did you enquire from the dealer about ongoing automatic loan car availability when choosing which brand to buy/dealer to buy from? What did they tell you?0

I notice you missed the important part of that sentence, and the entirety of the following one.
I omitted it because it doesn't change the fact your statement about motability cars is wildly inaccurate......But since this isn't about Motability anyway, and Motability customers aren't reliant on dealer loaners...
.....as is also the case with this sentence.0 -
I would add probably not physically able too
My knees have both gone in the last few years - possibly preventing me from using a clutch ...0 -
It is not up to the dealer to provide one of their own courtesy vehicles but if the motability car is off the road for more than 24 hours motability themselves will provide a car .
All the dealer has to do is ring motability to inform them and a car will be delivered , usually the next day.
But as usual some people expect
"The moon on a stick" instead of being grateful .0 -

Thanks for your concern - but I am fine in braking
I have a replacement joint in my left knee
I have been driving for almost 40 year and have learnt to brake using either foot !0
