Scottish Mortgage IT dividend recieved?

Options
Before contacting x-o to enquire as to why I haven't received the SMT dividend that was (supposedly) paid last Friday, I thought I'd just check whether it's just me or whether other people haven't received theirs? (and if so what platform you hold this IT on)

Recieved at Halifax. I've sold my holding at SMT, and feel alot better not having it now.

    x-o say:

"Unfortunately we have not received the dividend for SMT.L to date. We are hopeful the cheque will arrive in today post and be applied to account shortly after."

    A cheque! Really?

Assuming you hold the shares electronically with x-o and hence x-o are the registered shareholder, I would assume that any dividend payable would be sent via bank transfers to x-o's account who in turn distribute that amount to their clients on their platform.

It does seem absolutely bonkers if SMT do indeed send x-o a cheque for dividends!

Have the dividend payments been late ever in the past?

You’ll be credited with the dividend on the correct date. All down to when received and when admin process it. Happens to me all the time. Never had a dividend missed.

Not in general no, but I've only relatively recently added SMT so can't comment on whether their divi has been late before

But I wasn't. That was the point of this thread.

Its only twenty quid so I'm not losing any sleep over it, and I'm sure it'll show up eventually following x-o's answer - it was just the first time I've experienced a late divi (or certainly the first time I've noticed anyway!).

I've just checked my X-O account and my SMT dividend has been received.
