    Well done.

I would still be a little cautious. Didn't that Order give the Claimant the option to appeal that decision? Maybe within seven days or so?
It really would be good to see a copy of that Order. Can you post a photo of it here, with you name blanked out of course?

Apart from that can you please tell us how it worked out when it was suggested late last year that you send a DQ early due to you being out of the country. Anything you can add to that part of the process may help others in future.

Super result, but please note @KeithP's advice above. Stay in touch with the forum if you need ongoing advice.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • I actually phoned the courts who advised me that sending the DQ early wasn't advised by them and that if I could send it once they had issued it, I should. I received the DQ whilst I was out of the country (I had post redirected to my parents address) once it was received by post I sent an electronically completed version via email and all was fine, they accepted i couldn't attend for a 3 month period and set the date later in the year.

I think they do have a 7 day period yes, I've attached a copy of the form for info.

Haha, so cases are still being struck out by Bradford and Northampton county courts, despite the efforts of desperate legal firms.

Keep all the paperwork because some of these are being made a subject of applications to reinstate the cases, and my view, and that of @bargepole, is (if that happens) to let it happen and then carry on defending the claim with a witness statement as usual.
