Yorkshire Building Society Mortgage Valuation

Hi everyone..hope you're all well!!
Just wondered if anyone had any experience of a YBS mortgage valuation process, please?
i.e-who they use? do they have a good reputation etc.

Wondered if anyone had any experience of using them?

I have had no dealings with YBS before and can't see much about the process they use for valuations online
Thank you

I very much doubt it'll be any different from any other lender.

Is there a particular reason you're worried?

    I've used YBS for years.

Never had a down-valuation. No major probs. Worst was they kept me waiting for I think around 3 weeks for the survey and lied about it, but that may have been Countrywide lying, not YBS. Don't think my last one was done by Countrywide, but could be wrong. They prob use different ones, who know.

Can however highly recommend YBS. Their staff have always been lovely with me - I was very friendly with one woman who'd always remember me, and her predecessor (lovely bloke). Their rates have always been highly competitive for me so I've been happy to stay put for years.

PS actually, pretty sure it was Countrywide lying as my mortgage bod rang them to chase as I was getting nowhere.
