It seems to be a very good plan. I just wish I could understand it!, Could someone please explain to this computer dunderhead exactly how to "open several links at the same time" without actually clicking on them to open them? Many thanks in advance.0

What to do it this. When someone posts a 'link' (highlighted in blue usually) don't just double click on it as you would normally.
Instead hover your pointer over the link and 'right click' it. There will be a wee menu appears and select 'open in separate tab/window).
Do this with a few links one after the other. Hope this makes sense!"...and in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love you make".0 -

Here is what I think, based on my experience of doing them lots...
When a bird appears, another one won't appear for 'a while'. I don't know how long, but I would guess it is at least an hour - others may know better re the timing. The only exception is clicking on the daily clue. This will activate one bird if you click on the right link on the right day, regardless of whether you've just released another bird or not. That's why it is best to start each day by discovering the right link for the daily clue, then avoiding that link till you find birds elsewhere.
As for searching for the birds generally. I open several links at the same time. I don't know the best number, but perhaps somewhere between 5 - 9 links, in one go. I leave them a little while to load. Not so long that the birds will 'fly away' but perhaps around a minute (?)
Then, I click on each one in turn. I wait for the bottom banner to appear, that tells about the competition. If a bird is going to appear, it will fly out as soon as the bottom banner shows. And if a bird does fly out, I quickly click on the next link/s to see if birds will appear. The aim is not to click on one bird, until I've checked if more will fly out from my other links. I often get 3 or 4 birds at a time by doing it this way.
HTH, but sorry if it's confusing. Perhaps someone else might try to clarify?
